BioI recently gave up a 20 year career in technology to pursue a career in public and non-profit administration. All the psycho assessments say I would make a good career counselor or teacher, and surprisingly a musical artist (welcome to the party Sigmund Freud's). Music has been a part of me since I was a child. I've had very few quality role models and mentors in the arena. Grad school doesn't prepare you to work with other more experienced teachers and counselors. In my spare time I now take care of the artist within me, practice and write my music, and perform with people I enjoy. To me this is the definition of success. I don't like sharing personal or intimate thoughts on the internet because I work with the people who are constantly fixing it. I'm still growing out of that. Technology geeks and nerds are usually introverted, yet I have never fit that mold.
